Ancestral Medicine Women
From last Sunday's Circle. * * * Welcome this is Mother Sha-Riah. Every week now we are having on-line Medicine Circle and we choose a different theme or concept or energy, perhaps is the better word to journey on in an effort to create an energy force, if you like, of a positive energy force or a supportive energy force that can be sent out into the communities whether that's the immediate community or the broader national community or global community for support, nurturing, nourishing, for comfort and for strength. Because we have a strong understanding that this time is a really valuable time, it's an opportunity for a lot of energies to be worked out. A lot of things to be thought about that haven’t had the time to be thought about before and in that you often need support and help, but then afterwards when people are not locked in their homes, not isolated they will have to go back out into the world and that world will be different, not just in its look, you know the natural world is reclaiming and rejoicing in its reclamation and you will find that, but also in the way that you think perhaps, and the way others think and behave around you and their expectations and their desires and so on. And this is something to be expected because in many respects, even though the social media has been bombarding everybody with different thoughts and ways of being and ways of coping and so on, there has been a lot of time for people to just become themselves and to come to an understanding of themselves without the society influence, without the familiar influence, without the community influence. For some people, you will be going out into the world, almost as if you have thought for yourself for the very first time. And this will be an interesting experience. So, what we are doing in the circle is to create energies that support people, individuals or groups, to live now in this world, but then to go out into the world as a somewhat ‘new experience.’ So, we choose a different word or concept each week. This week we chose the word or concept of HEART. For a lot of people, the word heart is about Love, Passion, Empathy, Sympathy and as a human group, we have really embued that physical heart that resides embedded within and viewed it with this almost otherworldly nature that it actually guides our love, it breaks when we are distressed or when we are let down in love, so we have really looked at the heart as something, that not only keeps us going physically as it pumps the blood around us, but we have made it a metaphysical aspect as well that love makes the world go round. There is heart in everyone and if you look at many of the caring institutions around the world they have a heart as their symbol because there you will find heart and that idea of heart really makes people feel more comfortable, it makes them feel more confident in the world and it that institution and the people that are in the institution. We also discussed the understanding or the conceptual understanding of the magnetics of the body and how that is being related to the heart in metaphysical and scientific terms. Part of this is possible because it pumps the blood and as we know the blood has iron in it so it is like an armour if you like, an-iron armour within us. That magnetic force that we experience around us that’s emanating from us and when we meet people that we are not comfortable with and we feel repelling of that, which is interesting in itself because if two magnets repel it is because they are alike! so that is something to think about which as a separate agenda, but there is also that if you, if someone comes close to you that you know well, that you love the magnetic fields expand to encompass each other. This often happens, its most easy to see with children because they are so open, and when a child runs towards you, whether they are your child or another child, when the child runs towards you with love you immediately open and feel that energy expanding within you. So we talked about that aspect of heart and in the journey we were really looking to expand that or to understand it and to be able to create an energy experience or energy field for others around us to also be in that space and to feel that energy for themselves for support and for love. And what was interesting was that every person in the session/circle, either before their journey or were having experiences, or during the journey had pain or fragility, wobbliness in their legs and we found this very interesting. Every single person had that. There was something wrong with their legs either through pain or instability and when you think about the heart pumping blood, just on a purely physical level, to pump the blood, it's a long way from the heart to the toes and back again, so if you think about what we were trying to create of this energy, the heart energy and sending that out to the world, it takes a lot of energy to do that, it takes a lot of strength to hold the space and it takes a lot of conviction, it takes a lot of empathy, it takes a lot of meaning. And when you think about the blood going into the legs, it’s a journey. You know the legs hold you up, they keep you strong and standing upright in the world. They keep you in a space where you are balanced in the atmosphere. It is one of the things they say that sets us apart from the animal world, if you like, is that we are upright on our two legs. So, there is a lot of mechanics, if you like that enables humans to stand on two legs. But we come back to the blood pumping down, without the blood flow, without that constant even-blood-flow there becomes a weakness in the legs, there becomes a pain in the legs. So, it was very interesting that the people in the group experienced this because what this tells us that going out into the world with your heart energy strong and ready for action, takes a lot of energy and work and a lot of bravery. And it takes a lot of strength because all of those people were able to continue standing, they were able to continue through the work of the journey even though they were in this physical pain or vagility or frailty. And so it was quite a stunning discovery for the group that the whole group had this experience of their legs in some way and we were working on the heart. So it really brought home that to be in the heart space and to be able to extend that space to the world takes a lot of courage, a lot of bravery and a lot of strength to hold strong because the heart, as we all know, through its symbolic experience throughout history, the heart is in "fragile” because life can be given and taken away in a moment and we feel it. We imagine that we feel that in our heart. So, the heart has an element of fragility and yet it is one of the strongest organs in the body, the pumping, the pumping, the work that it does day and day and day. So, we have this contradiction in terms but this journey really showed us that you do need a lot of courage to go out into the world and to stand in the world and to be strong in the world and your understanding of yourself and the conviction of yourself and the dreams and the aspirations that you have. You need to be strong and if we are to support other people in this area with their convictions, so they can be strong in their convictions and in their desires and in their knowledge of themselves, then there is a lot of work to be done. So, we started that work and we will continue that work, the heart work is just one aspect of the work we are doing as a group as in the Ancestral Medicine Women and the people that we work with, but the whole world is currently working on. So, remember that your heart space and your heart is more than just the symbolic understandings that the world, the human group has placed on it. It is much more than that. It is mult-faceted and there is a lot of energy that has been placed on it societly and from the community and then there is the energy that we place in it. It does a lot of energetic work as well as a lot of physical work. So, look after your heart. Look after your energy, but strengthen it. Get it strong, get it pliable, get it energetic and this time is an opportunity for that work to be done. Many blessings to you all and thank you so much. From last Sunday’s Circle.

Welcome this is Mother Sha-Riah.

Every week now we are having on-line Medicine Circle and we choose a different theme or concept or energy, perhaps is the better word to journey on in an effort to create an energy force, if you like, of a positive energy force or a supportive energy force that can be sent out into the communities whether that’s the immediate community or the broader national community or global community for support, nurturing, nourishing, for comfort and for strength.

Because we have a strong understanding that this time is a really valuable time, it’s an opportunity for a lot of energies to be worked out.

So, what we are doing in the circle is to create energies that support people, individuals or groups, to live now in this world, but then to go out into the world as a somewhat ‘new experience.’

So, we choose a different word or concept each week.

This week we chose the word or concept of HEART.
